The Hop was a commissioned project for The Box Museum, Plymouth working for Far Flung CIC in response to Jyll Bradley’s exhibition of the same name. The Hop featured professional artists and community dancers across Far Flung CIC. The work was performed within and around Bradley’s Hop Sculpture as a celebration of the Box’s 5 year anniversary. The Hop (performance) centred around the relationships between the human and plant life of the Hop fields, farming and harvesting processes, with themes of community, collaboration, identity and connection.
